Just Edit, S.L. announces even more customer deals

Barcelona - 28 July 2005 - JustEdit, S.L. The number of vsn automated systems being installed across the world continues to rise with great speed. Only back in May, JustEdit announced the installation of 4 new digital newsroom systems and several Master Control playout&automation systems, and the list of clients opting for vsn keeps on growing.

As well as NaxooTV (Ginebra), Canal 9 ( Sierre, Switzerland) has also chose vsn through their dealer Visuals, to automate their news production and Master Control Room. In August Canal 9 will install the largest vsnnews system in Europe, with 26 journalist seats, 2 news playouts studios and a third for Master Control Room. This solution also includes titling systems, teleprompter, automatic ingest and network monitoring software.

JustEdit has also received an order for a “turnkey” system for a new Channel Ishtar TV,that is being installed in Erbil ( Kurdistan, Iraq). The rack will be pre-installed in Spain and will also include a vsnnews playout, synchronised prompter and titler, automatic ingest and Master Control Room. As well as the 3 journalist seats, Ishtar TV will also be using the just recently announced content management module vsnmacsharer to integrate 3 FinalCutPro systems in the vsn network.

In Turkey, the official vsn dealer Erel is currently installing a complete network editing system (3 vsnnetsharer systems and another 3 vsnmacsharer s) and Master Control Room (3 vsnmatic with logo insertion and the character generator vsncg ) for 2 Thematic Channels broadcast by Elma and a third brand new channel. These channels go on-air via the Digitürk satellite platform.

In Mexico, the new music Channel Exa TV has opted for a Master Control Room vsnmatic and vsncg , and as such 3 network editing workstations and a “ render farm” to speed up the data transfer. This deal was won by the Mexican vsn dealer Digital Media Solutions (DMS).

The number of clients in Portugal also continues to rise as Policord (Portugal), through GTC the vsn dealer en Lisborn, has just purchased vsnmatic and vsncg together with a 3 seat network editing system with vsnnetsharer .

Finally, at home in Spain, as well as the vsn projects installed by S.I.s Vitelsa, Provideo Sevilla, Soltronic and Emco, JustEdit announces the expansion project for M7 Mallorca awarded to vsn dealer NRD. They will upgrade their playouts to DV25 and install a brand new vsnmatic DV. The project also features more storage capacity and an increase in the number of connected workstations (6 AVID, 2 Canopus y 5 Sony Vegas), making all files, either MPEG2 or DV25, compatible throughout the network.
