Barcelona – 26 October 2005 - JustEdit,S.L. and MOG Solutions are pleased to announce a strategic agreement to integrate MOG's MXF codecs into vsn software. At IBC this year, vsnnews , the leading solution for Digital Newsrooms, featured MXF support in its various modules, creating a complete ‘tapeless' workflow. Ingest ( vsnautorec ), network editing and content manager (vsnnetsharer ) and the News and Master Control playouts ( vsnairnews and vsnmatic ), among others, will have specific MXF versions released in time for Broadcast Madrid 2005 (15 th -18 th November).
MOG Solutions' MXF Development Tools have been successfully adopted by manufacturers around the world. By integrating the MXF tools into their products, they are able to generate, edit and read MXF files from a variety of vendors, with support for various essence formats (DV, MPEG and D10, among others), containing editing decisions and carrying time-aligned descriptive metadata. These new capabilities significantly increase the performance of tapeless workflows, by providing a uniform way to carry essence, metadata and editing information.
