At CABSAT 06 Dubai (and NAB2006), the Spanish company JustEdit will showcase the complete vsn range of automation software solutions for master control room, news operation and archive. After a very successful expansion year in different countries, vsn 's main highlights for this edition will be:

- The digital newsroom system vsnnews (also known as DV Lince, Sony's oem), now featuring the latest XL versión, enables lo-res editing to unlimited number of journalists. vsnnews supports now a complete MXF workflow for XDCAM (high and low resolution) through the new module vsnscenes . vsnscenes increases the MXF workflow speed by allowing direct browsing of proxies and selection of content (IN/OUT points) straight on the XDCAM disk. The selected high resolution footage is automatically uploaded to the shared videoservers for immediate availability to all the network. It will soon be available for P2 also.
- Versión 3.0 of the popular MCR automation videoserver vsnmatic, both HD & SD. New features such as the capability to be integrated with interactive MHP advertisement, playlist import and export (including EPGs), enhanced remote schedulling, integration with third parties and multi-language GUI.
- Improved version of the Character Generator vsncg and the legal backup system vsnlegalrec (new multichannel version and several file formats, such as WM9 and MPEG-2 MP@ML, available for monitoring application). A four-channel audio monitoring application (i.e. for Radio compliance) is also available now.
- The ingest tool, vsnautorec, now configurable up to 2 channels per workstation, features VUmeters for audio monitoring and video preview on the screen.

- The new content manager, vsnnetsharer , more intuitive and easy-to-use has been completely redesigned with multiple features to interface with the new vsn scenes and XDCAM workflow, allowing multi-clip registry function among others.
- JustEdit is also announcing the new versión of vsnnews (available 2006 3Q), with multi-language interface, graphics preview in the journalist workstations, wires, etc.
- All vsn modules will be empowered to allow integration with several third parties (such as Avid and Sony's XDCAM) due to a new development strategy to enhance interoperability and seamless installation along with already existing systems. Amongst these, vsnarchive features now a new API that allows easy customization of the asset management databases.
- JustEdit introduces also an affordable MPEG2 entry-level Master Control Room automation videoserver (available March 2006). Developed to meet the request of emerging countries, the brand new vsn A10P is a complete videoserver featuring ingest, schedule, playout, graphics, VTR and router control (“all-in-one”) at an unbeatable price. The automation software is based on the popular vsnmatic , vsnrecpro & vsncg/lg GUI, powerful but fast and easy to operate.
