vsn’s installed base growing in UK, France and Spain

JustEdit-vsn has recently increased the number of BC automation systems installed in different countries. The company is also accelerating the pace to be present at major Shows in London and Singapore.

The vsn team is making a huge effort to promote the affordable broadcast automation end-to-end solutions developed by the company. For the first time vsn’s staff will be showcasing the range at 2 different shows simultaneously (Broadcast Live in London and Broadcast Asia in Singapore) from the 20th to the 23rd of June 2006.

vsn is looking to strengthen its position in the British market. After recent successes in the UK, vsn will attend Broadcast Live for the 1st time. At the same time, the technical team will be very busy installing and commissioning a complete turn-key system for the new satellite channel MRI TV (soon available on BskyB sat platform).

The contract was awarded recently and the channel may break a new time record to on-air. In less than one month vsn will build, install and train MRI TV’s team to operate a broadcast automated facility that includes a complete networked content creation solution with live programme playout, graphics and prompter. 2 ingest channels and a digital asset management system based on vsnarchive complete the picture. 3 videoservers for live, ‘daily’ and master control playout with a total of over 300 hours will work fully integrated with 5 Avid Xpress Pro postproduction suites.

MRI TV will operate in a digital, affordable and automatic domain since the beginning, setting a new standard for small-medium size efficiently managed channels in the UK.

vsn is also proud to announce several new orders in Spain and France where the company’s market share is continuously growing. Almería’s local TV channel has awarded Sonimalaga a Master Control playout and automation (vsnmatic) with integrated vsncg graphics, as well as several licences for network editing and programmable filing stations.

A similar configuration is now being installed by vsn’s dealer NRD at TV Reus (Tarragona, Spain). It will be on-air by mid-June.

In France, CiS (vsn representative) is supplying also the automation system for an internal corporate TV channel at Robert Debré Hospital in Paris. vsn automation features and functions will allow this hospital to run its own TV station with an incredibly reduced team.
