vsn hires Eugene Cooke to head up Northern European office (Barcelona, Oct. 2006)

The Spanish broadcast automation manufacturer vsn (video stream networks) has decided to expand its activity in the UK and northern Europe, to develop a closer working relationship with its existing customer base by opening a branch office in London . Mr Eugene Cooke, a well known professional, former Sales & Marketing Director for On Air Systems and formerly of Snell&Wilcox, has been recently appointed to develop the company's Northern European subsidiary and to develop the reseller network within this territory. vsn intends to strengthen its presence in the broadcast automation business for the British market, following its successful developments in Spain and Latin America over the last 2-3 years.

The vsn UK branch will also be in charge of managing vsn 's business in countries, such as Germany and the Netherlands. vsn intends to work closely with local dealers and system integrators within these regions. vsn UK will be hosting an 'Open Door' event soon after Christmas to increase the awareness of its affordable end-to-end broadcast automation solution. The company has also created a new brand image that will soon be released through a dedicated ad campaign ('One Stop.tv Automation').
