Multichannel Control

At NAB2007 vsn will introduce its new broadcast automation software, vsn master , based on the well known Multicon from Activa Software. It's a proven solution, 75 channels on air and over 10 years in operation. vsn master enables full control of all devices in the master control room, no matter the selected broadcast infrastructure, as it's been certified by manufacturers such as EVS, GrassValley, Sony, Avid/Pinnacle, Thomson and vsn . vsn master controls tape libraries, subtitling systems, graphic generators, etc. allowing multichannel operation and various redundanciy levels for TV, DTT and HDTV.

Weekly Rundown

Last but not least, vsn traffic is a customizable, multi-department, efficient, easy-to-use traffic and management tool for broadcast planning. vsn traffic manages content, costs and ad contracts, along with playlists and rundowns for multichannel daily emission. It allows historic programme browsing and searching and delivers the necessary information for advertising emmission and invoicing. vsn traffic is multiplatform, Web-based (HTML, Java) application, so no client installation is required, but just a web browser.

Some other traditional vsn modules (ingest, news and MCR playout...) will appear at NAB'07 with new SD/HD features. vsn will also showcase new versions of the scheduling tool vsn filler and the low cost archive solution vsn media store .

The two brand new modules allow vsn to offer the most complete set of cost-effective applications to conform an end-to-end integrated broadcast automation and management environment, specially for customers focused on a single provider (‘OneStop') responsible of the overall digitization process.
