The successful candidate will be well experienced in performing sales tasks in the areas of TV software and technical installations. The Channel Manager builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing dealers and partners. Part of the international sales group and reporting to the Sales VP, s/he will be dinamic and a real self-starter, with a deep technical knowledge of the VSN solutions and its competition. Ready to travel around the world 15-20% of his/her time.

Experience in the TV/Broadcast market is an asset, specially with software companies, newsroom or MAM environments, automation vendors, etc.

Responsibilities

Build and manage the Channel

With a deep knowlegde of the VSN architecture and constantly updated of the new developments and product updates, the Sales Manager should be able to perform searches of potential channel partners, contact them and agree on an agenda to visit and convince them about VSN’s value for their companies. S/He will be part of their training process too.

Build proposals and quotes

After the training period, the candidate will be able to perform a serious consultative selling process either with end users or supporting the partners, learn about the customers’ needs, discuss with the Projects Team and create the relevant documents (technical & commercial) that put together a top proposal for specific project.

Follow up sales leads

Either on his/her own or combined with VSN’s channel partners the candidate shall develop a very proactive sales activity along the year, and specially at the different Shows which the company attends as an exhibitor.

Maximize VSN’s accounts’ potential

Hit the assigned sales targets for his/her territory

Requeriments

Studies: University degree (Telecomms and/or IT engineering)
Minimum Requirements:
  • Proven ability to understand, express and communicate complex technical concepts
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and team-work skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter, able to work independently and willing to take the initiative
  • Willing to travel frequently
  • Fully bilingual Spanish and English (written, oral…)
