Canal 9 Sierre (Switzerland) - information
Canal 9 Sierre was established in 1983 as a local television channel by the Chambre Économique from Sierre. In October 2008, it was granted a broadcasting license for the whole region of Valais and Chablais Vaudois, thus becoming Canal 9 / Kanal 9, bilingual and with a regional scope. The goals of its programming are news reporting, entertaining and promoting the region's development.
VSN supplied the channel a news production system, VSNNEWS, comprising 26 newswriter workstations.
