Educational Television of Mexico - DGTVE (Mexico) - information
The General Management of Educational Television (Spanish acronym DGTVE) is a centralized body of the Public Education Secretary. The tasks of the DGTVE are producing, programming and broadcasting educational contents through electronic means, mainly television, over the Edusat Network.
Edusat has a 4-channel network. Their broadcast contents are produced by the Latin American Institute of Educational Communication. Although the signal is available throughout the American continent (except from the Eastern part of Brazil), Edusat's programming is only offered in Mexico, Central America and some areas in the United States.
DGTVE purchased the archive system, VSNARCHIVE, and one playout automation solution, VSNMATIC for 12 channels.
