Nova TV (Spain) - information

Nova Televisión was established in 1991. At first, the took care of the contents broadcast in the island, after disconnecting from Antena 3 Televisión, with daily 30 minute newscasts and some entertainment and debate programmes. Over the last years, it has combined their activity as regional subsidiary of the state channel with television production for third-party companies, specially for the autonomic network IB3. Some of the channel's most popular formats are produced at their premises in Palma.

Nova televisión specializes in different formats from among we can point out fiction series such as Vallterra, Laberinto de pasiones, Huevos con caracoles and Lágrima de sangre; quizz shows like Scrabble or Sabes la última, and studio productions such as Temporada Alta or Paquita Tomás' La buena Cocina.

VSN provided the news production system VSNNEWS and the playout production automation, VSNMATIC, featuring titling and graphics generation with VSNCG.
