15 September 2009

With the opening of this branch office, VSN's goal is to offer a wider coverage in the Brazilian market as well as consolidate an effective service and support plan.

Video Stream Networks, a leader company in digitization and automation TV broadcast solutions continues its international expansion project with the opening of two new branches in the Brazilian cities of Sao Paulo and Salvador de Bahía. The Brazilian market represents a 70% of the overall broadcast market in Latin America. It is a huge country that demands tailored commercial and logistics strategies so the opening of this branch office constitutes a big challenge for the Spanish company.

Besides offering the market's most complete digital automation solution to the Brazilian TV channels, VSN Brazil will be putting into practice a really efficient 24x7 technical service and support program to reinforce the relationship of close cooperation with its customers. According to Iván Leal, general manager of the branch in that country: "In these times of technological transition, based on a radical change of the open TV operating mode, the relationship provider-customer has to be one of total collaboration and not just a business relation or the mere supply of a high-quality product. In this respect, we will be making a difference as we will be offering a top-quality service to our customers."

VSN thus continues to move forward its internationalization and expansion process. In the last four years, the company has opened four branches in different parts of the world and, today, over 900 TV channels in more than 80 countries trust their most critical operations in the most demanding environments to VSN's broadcast solutions.
