VSN showcases vsnIPtransfer at MIPTV 2010

For the first time, the Spanish company showcased their tool vsnIPTransfer at a Media Trade Show

Every year, MIPTV comes along as the most important meeting point for TV media production and distribution professionals. This year it was held last April 12-15. For the first time, VSN joined the 2010 edition with the purpose of widening its market in this sector. To that aim, the company introduced vsnIPTransfer, a powerful solution for the exchange of broadcast-quality contents.

“ It is potentially a great market for VSN and the truth is that it is being very well received at the show. vsnIPTransfer is an innovation that breaks away from the current traditional methodology when it comes to sharing video contents", explained Marc Centelles, Marketing manager of VSN. "We are currently investing in R&D in order to introduce technological improvements and new applications that allow us to increasingly adapt our tool to this sector."

vsnIPTransfer performs the HD/SD content exchange via IP. It allows to directly send the contents to a node or publishing them on an available server on the Internet. The contents can be accessed and previewed and, depending on the configuration, you can download to a local computer or even send it to a remote location where the software was installed. Its open and flexible technology brings about drastic cost reductions when compared to satellite systems, MW links, FTP or tape shipping.

Sectors like news agencies or content production and distribution agencies are already taking advantage of this groundbreaking advance.
