VSNARCHIVE - HSM

VSN offers several possible solutions to the problem of archiving thousands of hours of video materials. The state-of-the-art HSM allows customers to decide which media is right to store their materials, either video tapes, HD storage units (H.264 version, exclusive by VSN), LTO, digital tape formats, etc.The HSM software is customised to every circumstance and seamlessly integrated with VSN's BPM module (VSNWORKFLOW MANAGER) thus becoming a powerful tool for any kind of configuration. VSN engineers will configure the system to your specific requirements, no matter the complexity or the amount of materials involved.

VSNARCHIVE SERVER: multicatalogue view, flexible HSM interfacing, transcoding capabilities, video validation.
VSNEXPLORER: easy-to-use, web-based GUI, several levels of perfomance, partial-retrieval functionality.
HSM: VSNARCHIVE can interface with Xendata, Diva, SGL, IPT (H.264 version). Compatible with most LTO libraries, HDD storage, tapes, BR.

VSNARCHIVE is fully customizable to the particular needs of the customer by using parametric metadata for each kind of digital assets. It can even be integrated with other databases or external applications.
