vsnstorage is the shared storage for the entire working network that efficiently shares and securely manages high quality digital media contents where heavy bandwidth requirements and high-performance are imperative. It is a cost effective storage hardware solution, designed to support all stations working at full capacity simultaneously. vsnnetsharer software application allows balanced loads and creating architectures with different servers. Each server supports 25 users editing simultaneously in high resolution DV 25.

The storage network can be configured to adapt to every workflow requirements for any client. vsnstorage provides a flexible, easy-to-use and scalable system which integrates seamlessly into your specific production process and allows the decision-making body anticipate to your business future growth. It is optimized for the most demanding broadcast environments to deliver real-time, high-resolution audiovisual contents to workstations, in order to increase productivity and reduce costs. Its extraordinary expandability makes it possible to scale up the amount of users and assets to be accessed.

 vsnstorage is based on open standard IT technologies such as SAN and NAS, which can be installed either in conventional Gigabit Ethernet or Fiber Channel environments with modular off-the-shelf hardware. Depending on the number of stations in the system, the architecture should be the most adequate to provide the needed bandwidth.

Servers come in a mountable Rack format (1U, 2U and 3U) with a storage capacity from 75 hrs up to 300 hrs in high resolution DV25. Maximum data security with RAID 0,1,2,3,5 and 6 is supported with both DAS and SAN connectivity. Redundant power supply and cooling as well as hot-swappable drives with a complete set of alarms in case of any kind of trouble arose are included to offer high reliability.

Clustering configuration supports double On Air servers that connected to a redundant Play Out (optional) guarantees on air signal in case of trouble. Servers administration can be done via web interface.
