vsnmatic - Overview

VSNMATIC is a modular, open and scalable system that has been designed to automate a TV station broadcasting. Developed on standard PC-based Windows platform since 1996, its robustness for 24x7 operation is well known and more than 450 broadcasters in many countries operate this sophisticated, yet easy to use, solution.

VSNMATIC is a multiformat playout and videoserver designed to automate the Master Control Room, MCR, allowing TV broadcasters to launch content on-air in an effective, reliable and user-friendly environment.

From the generation of a playlist through the play out of the media content VSNMATIC manages the MCR 24x7 efficiently within one solution.

With VSNMATIC you can automate the play out including the switching to external lines, reducing maintenance cost and related human errors. However, you can also use VSNMATIC manually when operator actions may be required, as in a live event for example. Furthermore, VSNMATIC has been designed to control devices such as routers, vtr’s or mixers allowing the connection-disconnection between different TV stations. And for greater flexibilityVSNMATIC can be managed remotely.
