Videohouse was looking for a replacement to their prior MAM solutions for their internal and external clients, so the platform had to have multi-tenant capabilities, like shared and dedicated storage, hardware and libraries. In other words, a proven, flexible and end-to-end MAM solution that also needed to be hardware-agnostic and web-based.
The flexibility requirements went beyond usual setups, as the solution also required functionalities like adapting to each client’s storage (shared or dedicated) and as the multi-tenant capabilities also needed to adapt to each of the tenant’s requirements, as well as to provide space for future additions.
VSNExplorer MAM
Multi-tenant MAM system that is able to manage every media process, from ingest, quality check and cataloging to online management, local and online storage and easy integration with third-party systems. The system’s web-based, customizable and scalable nature allowed to meet the critical multi-user requirements the project had perfectly.
VSNExplorer suite
The solution also added extra modules to provide for Videohouse’s future needs: the VSNExplorer PAM, a module created for production environments that allows for an easy tracking and management of all projects and tasks; the VSNExplorer BPM, which adds an orchestration layer for workflows; and the VSNExplorer BI as a Business Intelligence.
