Terms and Guarantees for RMA’s

 

The terms and warranties herein are relative to the equipment, components and hardware distributed, integrated and/or sold by Video Stream Networks, S.L. (hereinafter VSN) and/or its partners.

1. 

The buyer must check all products upon receipt. Any damage or shipping problem must be reported to VSN within a maximum period of 5 days from receipt.

2. 

The RMA service does not include transport costs, insurance, taxes, customs, storage or processing fees.

3. 

The customer can reject the RMA before the shipment is made. Such cancellation must be notified to VSN before the shipping process is initiated.

4. 

VSN will try to minimize the costs of transportation, insurance, taxes, customs, storage or processing fees. However, if during the shipping process, it is decided to cancel or not accept some of these costs and therefore, cancel the final reception, the customer will not be exempted from the costs generated and will have to assume them. Likewise, VSN will not be responsible for the processing or additional costs derived from this cancellation and they will have to be assumed by the customer.

Acceptance of the RMA implies acceptance of these terms and guarantees. If the buyer does not accept the RMA or the terms, the RMA will be cancelled and any costs arising from storage, transport, insurance, taxes, customs or handling fees, if any, must be paid within 30 days of acceptance or refusal of the RMA.

6. 

If the RMA is considered an advanced change under warranty, once the installation of the replacement component to be sent by VSN has been carried out, the customer must send the defective product to VSN within a maximum period of 30 days. The costs derived from the shipment of the defective product will be the customer’s responsibility. If the faulty product has not been sent within 30 days, it will be invoiced to the customer, except in those cases where VSN expressly states that no such return is required.

If the RMA is considered a repair or replacement of the damaged component or product, the customer must send the damaged product to VSN. The costs derived from this shipment will be borne by the customer. The shipment of the repaired or new component or product will be made from VSN and the shipping costs of this component or repaired product will be assumed by VSN.

VSN will notify shipping dates. The shipping date could be modified due to logistical problems or problems beyond VSN’s control. If this is the case, the new dispatch date will be indicated as part of the process.

VSN reserves the right to send the same product model, a similar one or one with similar specifications and never inferior to the original. VSN will notify of any changes before starting the shipping process.

All new products shipped will have at least 1 year warranty unless otherwise specified during the replacement process.

Repaired, refurbished or reconditioned products will have a 30-day warranty unless otherwise specified during the replacement process.

12.

VSN is not responsible for delays or performance failures resulting from force majeure situations. A situation of force majeure is defined as those cases expressly mentioned in Law 1105 of the Spanish Civil Code, such as labour disputes, acts of war, states of emergency, states of alarm, pandemics, government regulations imposed after the fact, or natural disasters. If the force majeure condition extends for a period of time longer than 60 days, the client and VSN may negotiate a goodwill agreement in favor of reaching a viable solution for both parties.

The warranty only applies if the failure is reported within the warranty period. Even if the error was detected before the end of the warranty, if it is not reported before the end of the warranty it will not be approved under warranty and could have associated costs.

RMA processing: In order to guarantee the speed and conditions of the RMAs, they must be processed by the customer through the website https://www.vsn-tv.com/en/support/rma-request/.

15.

The information should be that of the receiver of the material in order to minimize time processing and handling.

16.

Faults caused by improper/incorrect use of the product for purposes other than those for which it was manufactured are excluded from the warranty.

17.

Under no circumstances will VSN pay any amount as damages for the repair or replacement time.
