CYLTV has entrusted VSN with its automation system, one of the most delicate parts of any TV channel, installing VSNOne TV. Thanks to this compact system, the channel has not only improved its current activity, but is now also prepared for significant improvements in the near future. With the implementation of VSNOne TV, the automation and management of the master control room of Castilla y León’s TV station has been guaranteed through a single system.
This Channel-in-a-Box (CiaB) system not only fulfills these functions, but also offers an End-to-End solution. VSNOne TV allows the TV channel, among other purposes, to control all the devices necessary for both content ingest and broadcast, as well as the integration with third-party systems to fulfill the channel’s needs.
VSN has conformed the need for redundancy through the installation of a second VSNOne TV, which ensures CyLTV’s broadcast in case any setback in the main system arises.
All this process consolidates and guarantees the TV channel broadcast, while lowering the consumption of resources, since this single compact device has all the functions of a traditional MCR system (graphics, servers and switches, routing, audio and branding). Likewise, CyLTV’s VSNOne TV configuration will enable future HD emissions, instead of the current SD signal.
