VSN visited Broadcast Asia in one week (23rd – 25th of May) to introduce, among others, its new web-based video editing tool Wedit, VSNExplorer BI enhancements and much more at stand 4N5-02.
Asia is one of the three key regions where VSN pays special attention in terms of international expansion and projects’ development, and it is also by far the region which has grown the most over the last years in any sector, including the Broadcast and the Media and Entertainment industries. Therefore, if there is an unmissable event to attend that’s Broadcast Asia (BCA), and VSN was there to showcase how media companies worldwide use its solutions to become more efficient, productive and better every day.
As the first new-comer to the region, VSN web video editing brand new HTML5 tool, Wedit was the absolute protagonist, which is capable to use any media registered into VSNExplorer to rough cut edit, consolidate and send to playout. Speaking of VSNExplorer, its Business Intelligence module has a major improvement that based on permissions, allows users to access any type of metadata and generate their own reports and dashboards, which will allow customers to make decisions based on data, as well as review them and improve upon results. Also, VSNCreaTv (which now controls auxiliary events) and the whole portfolio of VSN’s products that have been improved were showcased at the stand 4N5-02.

VSN was particularly focused on this region through all May, hosting a Distributor event in Hong Kong 18th-19th of May, a keynote at Broadcast Asia VIP Lounge the first day of the show (23rd of May) under invitation only, and several trips to the Asia Pacific region to follow up on current projects.
Visitors were able to see first-hand all the newest VSN developments at stand 4N5-02, where the VSN team of Broadcast and Media & Entertainment specialists showcased them in detail.
